Oh Mexico!
Marissa was so excited as we went through security at LAX and Courtney Cox and her darling daughter Cocoa were right next to us...and she just happened to be on the cover of the new Harper's Bazaar Marissa had just purchased. Marissa quickly called her mom to tell her Monica was right next to her. She couldn't fathom her mom not immediately knowing who Monica was...(from Friends -- duh!)

ACFC Goes to El Cholo
Tai and Marissa took children from A Chance for Children's after school program at Tom Bradley Elementary school to El Cholo as guests of the owner Ron Salisbury and his son Brendon. The kids got a tour and history lesson of the family restaurant that opened in the 1920's. They got to go in the kitchen and help with making tortillas and learned how to make guacamole - which most of the kids had never eaten. We ended with a feast that left us all happy and very full! Thank you Ron & El Cholo for a wonderful afternoon!

Another Wonderful Time With Louie!
Tai and Marissa helped sweet Louie Zamperini with his book signing for -- Unbroken by Laura Hillenbrand and his book Devil at My Heels for a second Thursday in a row. Olympic Swimming Great John Naber organized the event. It was hosted once again by Ron & Brandon Salisbury, this time at the Canary Restaurant in Newport Beach. It was so inspiring that the line was around the building for hours -- and sadly many were turned away. What a beautiful gift that people never stop loving heroes and that Louie gets to see the incredible response to his story...and know he is so beloved and inspiring...We are indeed blessed to know him and cherish every moment shared. We love and thank you Louie -- our hero!

Lunch Beverly Hills Style
Tai and Marissa had lunch at Villa Blanca in Beverly Hills with Karin Taylor and Jane Bakerink. Jane's longtime friend, Lisa Vanderpump and her dear husband Ken Todd, own the restaurant. The food presentation and taste was beyond divine and the coffee was the BEST EVER! Can't wait to go back!

Cupcakes...
Tai's friend Karin Taylor is visiting from Palm Beach Gardens and brought over a variety of Crumbs cupcakes for Sunday Fun-Day! We ate them till we all had tummy aches and swore them off forever...but then Monday came and we all ate until we felt sick again...Yumm...
