Halloween at the Homeless Shelter...So Precious

A Chance for Children's Annual Halloween Party at Communidad Cesar Chavez was a huge success. The highlight of the day was when one of the little girls asked Tai, dressed in an angel costume, if she was a "real" angel. Then she looked up saying; "Are you from God?"

Beverly Hills Day...

It was Marissa's first time going to The Ivy in Beverly Hills. She and Tai had the famous grilled veggie salad with shrimp (photo taken for her trainer below) and Marissa had the same yummy salad topped with chargrilled salmon. All topped off by the best gimlets and mimosas in town. Then off for a little shopping excursion at Chanel...fur hot pants for Marissa to dream of and a fur trimmed dress for Tai...

Breakfast...

Tai's Trainer, Jason, has a new way to help her manage her eating...take a photo and text him everything she eats. So -- Day 1 Breakfast!

But good veggie soup, a pork tenderloin, and a little champagne in our new green glasses made the day brighter!

New Partner School Opens

Congratulations to Desiree Manuel for becoming the principal for one of LA's newest elementary schools - Dolores Huerta Elementary School -- that just opened this year. We were thrilled to be there for the school opening celebration and we look forward to sharing a great weekend camp with the fourth and fifth graders in November with A Chance for Children and Canyon Creek Sports Camp.
