Boat Into Positano

Marissa's arrival into Positano was by the Positano Jet Boat the Lucibello. Magical. And on the ride the Captain and crew asked us if we wanted Mirto-- an aperitif. How could we say no? So -- before we knew it we were invited in to drive the boat into Positano!

Farewell Alessandra & Capri!

Last Stop on Capri...

Our last stop on Capri was perhaps the most exciting! Villa Marina Capri Hotel & Spa is a new five star hotel. Alessandra's good friend Francesca Guarino, owns the hotel and we stopped by for what else -- an aperitif! Her friend Walter Iasiello, who runs Villa Capri, gave us a tour and invited us into the kitchen to meet the chef, Gianfranco Gallo, of their restaurant Ziqu'. And now the Bikini Bakers have invited back this week to be their guests to cook up one of our "Malibu Lifestyle" meals -- dessert included. This is an a la mode touch to our trip! So excited!

Around Capri...

Marissa, Tai and wonderful Alessandra...

Lunch at JK Place Capri

Our first stop was JK Place where Alessandra's friend hosted us to an exquisite lunch overlooking the Tyrrhenian Sea & Gulf of Naples. Divine...the place, the meal, the company.

Capri -- the Arrival!

Beautiful Capri.

All Aboard to Capri!

The "Ring Sisters" depart...

Night on the town in Naples...

We met Alessandra's friends at a fabulous restaurant - Bannera. We were invited into the kitchen to get a few pointers from the onwer and chef Celeste! Marissa had her first encounter eating mussels and the best tuna steak of her life. Tai also gave Marissa a lesson in eating both prawns and mussels. Another delectable night in Italy...and we got to ride home on scooters!

Our Day in Naples...

Castles, Gelato and Skype(Marissa with her mom)...and we didfind this wonderful jeweler, Gioielleria Contatore, near our apartment where we did purchase a few little babbles.

Welcome to Naples!

A Night Out in Trastevere

We spent the evening with Alessandra walking the cobblestone streets. Dining inTrastevere as Italy was playing their first round in the World Cup -- televisions flags were everywhere! And the cooks weren't making anything on the menu that kept them in the kitchen. After dinner we walked by the river that was lined with bars, restaurants, and little shops. After all the good wine and apertifs we were a little tipsy...and ended the night with a "fruit munchie." Our only problem here was there seemed to be no place to wear a bikini...

Colors & Flavors...

We found all of our favorite things in Rome...

Our "chocolate a day" is turning in to a "gelato a day"!
