Things Are Not Always As They Seem...

A few months ago, David Horsey, a political journalist for msnbc.com did a beautiful story on Tai entitled: "The Godmother of Hollywood: Things Aren't As They Appear." Just as it appears that Marissa floating on a bottomless pool -- "things are not as they seem" became the theme of our vacation. French people are so warm, wonderful and the kindest people. The locals in Positano are so welcoming and so glad to have tourists there. France has the best pizza, Germany the best bread, and Italy the best coffee (and it's a tie for pastries!) Pasta is supposed to be cut, not wound around a spoon and chefs welcome other chefs into their kitchens. And hotels aren't always as they appear on the internet. Things are not always what we hear, believe, think...
