We has so much fun visiting the shoe maker at a darling little store -- Artiganto Rallo. We both got shoes made custom to our feet. There were so many AMAZINGLY beautiful ones with glimmering stones of every color. But a choice was finally made -- Marissa & Tai got the same pair. And when we went to pick them up the next day -- Tai just HAD TO GET two more pair!

ReplyDeleteItalian cobblers are the BEST (I'm sure the edible type are great too)!! There's one in Virginia Beach that I used to go to at Laskin Rd. He (Alex) was so good that I would ship my shoes there for repairs after I moved to DC. Here's a tip- have a rubber soles added to the leather bottoms (underneath) of your favourite shoes (for me they were pumps and sandals), they'll last forever, have better traction and you'll have more pep in your step. I could stand on a hard marble floor all day and have cute feet!
